From inquiry to integration

How we automate your flow control

Each stage is engineered for water treatment networks
1

Site assessment & valve audit

Our engineers review your existing valve types, stroke lengths, and control voltage requirements. We document actuator mounting dimensions and feedback signal compatibility.

2

Actuator & transmitter selection

Based on the audit, we match the right EC-2000 or LD-1500 actuator and MT-485 Modbus transmitter. Each unit is pre-configured for your specific 4-20 mA range and Modbus register map.

3

Integration & SCADA mapping

We install the actuator on the valve yoke, wire the feedback transmitter, and map position data to your SCADA system. The Modbus RTU bus is tested for all 247 possible nodes.

4

Commissioning & fail-safe test

Every unit undergoes a full stroke cycle test, overcurrent protection verification, and fail-safe positioning check. We provide a signed test report before handover.

5

Remote monitoring & support

After commissioning, you get access to our remote diagnostics portal. Our team monitors actuator health and provides firmware updates for the MT-485 transmitter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common queries about integrating smart actuators, linear drive cylinders, and Modbus feedback transmitters into automated water treatment networks.

What is the typical installation time for the EC-2000 actuator on a modulating valve?

Installation usually takes between 45 and 90 minutes depending on valve yoke compatibility. The unit ships with a universal mounting bracket and pre-terminated cable gland for 4-20 mA and Modbus connections. No special tools are required beyond a standard wrench set and a screwdriver for terminal blocks.

Can the LD-1500 linear drive cylinder be used in submerged or washdown environments?

Yes. The LD-1500 is rated IP68 for continuous submersion up to 3 meters. All external surfaces are 316L stainless steel, and the internal position sensor is sealed in a nitrogen-filled chamber. It is suitable for sludge gate operation, clarifier launder control, and other wet environments common in wastewater treatment.

How many MT-485 transmitters can be connected on a single Modbus RTU bus?

Up to 247 nodes are supported per bus segment. Each MT-485 draws less than 2.5 W from the bus, so no external power supply is needed for most installations. The built-in termination resistor can be enabled via a DIP switch, and the baud rate is configurable from 9600 to 115200 bps.

Do you provide configuration software for the MT-485 feedback transmitter?

Yes. The MT-485 Configuration Tool is a free Windows application that connects via USB-to-RS-485 adapter. It allows you to map position ranges to Modbus registers, set fail-safe values, and adjust filter time constants. A PDF manual with step-by-step screenshots is included in the download package.

What happens to the actuator position during a power loss or communication failure?

The EC-2000 and LD-1500 both support configurable fail-safe modes: hold last position, fully open, or fully closed. The fail-safe position is set via DIP switches or through Modbus register 0x0012. In the event of a bus timeout longer than 5 seconds, the actuator automatically transitions to the selected fail-safe state.

Are these products compatible with existing SCADA systems from Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider?

Yes. All three products use standard Modbus RTU over RS-485, which is natively supported by most SCADA platforms. We provide a sample register map and a generic GSD file for Siemens TIA Portal. For Rockwell ControlLogix, a simple MSG instruction reads the actuator position and status registers without additional hardware.

Core Capabilities for Smart Actuation

Microprocessor-driven electric actuators, linear drive cylinders, and Modbus-compatible feedback transmitters engineered for automated water treatment valve control.

Precision Stroke Control

EC-2000 actuator delivers 2000N thrust with integrated 4-20 mA feedback for modulating quarter-turn and multi-turn valves. Self-lubricating drive mechanism ensures maintenance-free operation over 1 million cycles.

Benefit: Reliable chemical dosing and filtration control without drift.

Heavy-Duty Linear Drive

LD-1500 cylinder provides 1500 N continuous force for large gate and sluice gates. All-stainless-steel construction with non-contact magnetostrictive position sensor offering 0.1 mm resolution feedback.

Benefit: Corrosion-resistant operation in humid and chemical-laden environments.

Digital Integration & Retrofitting

MT-485 transmitter converts 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, or potentiometer inputs to isolated Modbus RTU (RS-485). Supports up to 247 nodes on a single bus with configurable baud rate and parity.

Benefit: Seamless SCADA integration for legacy actuator upgrades.

Fail-Safe Positioning

Configurable stroke limits and fail-safe positioning on all actuators. Overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown built into the drive electronics for uninterrupted water network operation.

Benefit: Minimized downtime and automated emergency response.
